Questions shops actually ask

Do my customers pay anything to use KillDate?
No. Customers never pay KillDate and never create an account. They book from your page, fill out their cut sheet on their phone, and get text updates. The shop is the only one with a subscription.
Where do the text messages come from?
One registered KillDate number sends for the whole platform, with your shop name in the body of every message so the customer knows who is texting them. Sending from your own shop number is on the list but not built yet.
What happens if I stop paying?
You drop to the free plan limits. Your bookings, customers and cut sheets all stay exactly where they are, and your booking page keeps working. Text notifications stop until you are back on a paid plan.
Can I take deposits from customers?
Not yet. Deposits are coming on Shop Plus through Stripe Connect, which means the money lands in your own bank account rather than ours. You set the deposit amount per species and write your own refund policy.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
Neither. Plans are month to month, or yearly if you want two months free, and you cancel yourself from the billing portal. Cancelling leaves you on the plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
How long does it take to set up?
About ten minutes. You enter your shop details, pick which species you handle, set your kill days and how many head fit in a day, and your booking page is live. Cut sheet templates come with sensible defaults you can edit later.
